Aditi (she/her/hers) joined the Social Innovation Forum (SIF) team in July 2021, as SIF’s Social Justice Philanthropy Fellow through Northeastern University’s Graduate Cooperative Education Program. She now works as the Funder Education Program Manager, planning, organizing and executing events and collecting resources for SIF’s Funder Education programming. Through this work, SIF hopes to shift the philanthropic sector to be more inclusive and equitable by challenging traditional systems and collaborating with funders, nonprofit leaders, and other stakeholders.
Aditi just graduated from Northeastern University in May 2022, with her Masters in Public Administration. Originally from North Carolina, she graduated from NC State University in 2018 with Bachelor’s Degrees in Communication: Media and German Studies. Aditi currently serves as a founding board member and the Media and Outreach Chair at Hugs Foundation, a nonprofit in NC whose mission is to provide access through financial assistance to quality, holistic mental health services and resources for the local community. She also serves on the Board of Trustees at Esperanza Academy in Lawrence, MA. Aditi is passionate about advocacy, distribution of power, and grassroots level, community centered healing and empowerment. When not in class or at work, she enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, experimenting in the kitchen, and playing with her cat niece, Solee. Aditi is excited to join the team at SIF in working toward people-focused systemic change in the Greater Boston area.
