MBA CORE Fellow

Education
Candidate for dual MBA in Social Impact & MA in Sustainable International Development at Brandeis University (Expected Graduation May 2023)

Andy (she/her) joined the Social Innovation Forum in August 2022 as a MBA CORE Fellow from the Heller School for Social Policy & Management at Brandeis University. In this role, she works in partnership with the Executive Director, the Special Projects Coordinator, and the Special Projects & Operations Co-op to create a library of relevant articles that will form the foundation of a white paper that will harvest the learnings from SIF’s national cohort. A key part of Andy’s role will be to analyze, synthesize, and draw useful insights from a large volume of research.

While at Brandeis, Andy supported the creation of the Social Impact Case Collection, a resource to be used by university professors looking to highlight social entrepreneurship and take part in social impact teaching. For her contribution, she interviewed stakeholders at an agritech business startup working to improve livelihoods for farmers in Cameroon. Her 15-page case highlights the unique challenges facing social entrepreneurs as they seek to scale sustainably. As a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and AmeriCorps alum, Andy has cultivated a commitment to fostering accelerated social change and community development through local capacity-building. As a member of the SIF team, she is excited to help document and share key learnings from the CORE cohort.
