Calah (she/her/hers) joined the Social Innovation Forum (SIF) in August 2023 as the MBA CORE Fellow from the Heller School for Social Policy of Management. In this role, she will work closely with the Executive Director to support the continued work of the Community Organizations Reimagining Ecosystems (CORE) program. She will also work with the Funder Education Program Manager on an independent project surrounding participatory philanthropy.
Calah is currently in her second year of graduate school pursuing a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Public Policy. Prior to attending Heller, she worked in her hometown, Tulsa, Oklahoma, helping to open Greenwood Rising: Black Wall Street History Center, a museum dedicated to the history of Black Wall Street and the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. During her time there, she became increasingly passionate about community development from a multi-stakeholder, collective impact perspective. In addition to being a student, Calah is also a Board Fellow with REACH: Beyond Domestic Violence and actively involved with Heller’s racial equity working group. She is excited to engage with the SIF network and learn more about how to create community change through place-based work.
