
Jameelah (she/her/hers) joined the Social Innovation Forum (SIF) team in May 2022 as a Program Coordinator. She works closely with the Senior Program Manager in order to support the development of the Social Innovator Alumni Program and the expansion of SIF’s Nonprofit Network. Jameelah is excited to help further network-building and collaboration within the nonprofit network, as SIF strives to build an inclusive and supportive community.
Prior to joining SIF, Jameelah served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member with the Boston Housing Authority Language Access Division, where she helped build the capacity of the flagship Volunteer Interpreters Program through fundraising and volunteer recruitment. As a native of Boston, Jameelah is passionate about investing time and resources back into her home community. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies at Lesley University, with a specialization in Human Services and a minor in Creative Writing. She has future aspirations to become a published author and start an organization dedicated to supporting Boston’s growing network of Black women writers.
