Candidate for BS in International Affairs with Minors in Arabic, History, and Global Entrepreneurship, Northeastern University (expected graduation 2021)

Abby (she/her/hers) joined the Social Innovation Forum (SIF) in July 2020 as SIF’s new Program and Events Co-op through Northeastern University’s Cooperative Education program. In this role, Abby works with the program team to support the planning and managing of events including the ongoing Social Issue Talk series and SIF’s Winter Reception. Additionally, Abby plays a critical role in the Social Innovator Accelerator selection process and works to support the management of logistics for SIF’s Capacity Camp programs.

Abby is a fifth-year senior at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in International Affairs with minors in Arabic, History, and Global Social Entrepreneurship.  Her coursework, global and professional experiences have developed her passion for social justice and the nonprofit sector.  Abby brings several years of experience working within the social impact sector, including previous co-ops as a Consultant Intern for Ashoka based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and as a Legal Services Intern for the Rian Immigrant Center located in Boston.  She is eager to support local nonprofits through SIF by strengthening organizations, building networks, and amplifying positive social change in the greater Boston area.
