Social Innovation Forum
As Finance & Operations Manager, Michelle (she/her/hers) seeks to strengthen the organization’s infrastructure and develop streamlined back-office processes that support the growing work of the programmatic and fundraising teams. Michelle oversees activities in the functional areas of finance, technology, and human resources at the Social Innovation Forum to improve organizational effectiveness.
Michelle joined the Social Innovation Forum in early 2019 as the organization’s Development Coordinator. Prior to joining SIF, Michelle gained project management experience in the operations department of Children’s Literacy Initiative, a national nonprofit which aims to increase literacy rates in low-income K-3 classrooms. Her volunteer experience as an adult literacy tutor motivated her to coach first-generation students of color towards career and job search readiness with Project Basta. Michelle is excited about SIF's hands-on approach to learning, collaboration, and connection.
