Sarah (she/her/hers) joined the Social Innovation Forum (SIF) in January 2018. She served as SIF’s Program Coordinator and Senior Program Coordinator before becoming Program Manager in January 2020. In this role, Sarah works closely with the Director of Programs on coordinating and managing the nomination, application, and evaluation processes for the Social Innovator Accelerator. Once the Innovators have been chosen, she assists in the selection process of executive coaches and matching them with the new Innovators. Sarah also supports the planning and execution of events including Social Issue Talks, Social Innovator Showcase, Winter Reception, and Capacity Camp pitch events. Additionally, Sarah assists with performance measurement tracking of past Innovators and Capacity Camp participants.
While earning her Public Health Degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Sarah became especially passionate about access to healthy, affordable food. This passion led her to a year of AmeriCorps service with Cooking Matters, a 2012 Social Innovator. Her experience allowed her the opportunity to build unique connections between volunteers and program participants who worked together to learn new culinary skills. Sarah is excited to continue to build relationships where positive social change, networks, and even friendships may grow in the Boston community and beyond.
