Zach Karpovich

Zach (he/him/his) began as a program intern at the Social Innovation Forum in May 2019. In this position, Zach supports the application process for the 2020 Social Innovation Accelerator and works to find and nominate organizations in the Boston area that meet the desired specifications. Additionally, he facilitates the planning and execution of informational sessions and events at SIF.

Zach is a rising sophomore at Yale University intending to pursue a degree in Economics. In the past, Zach has served as Outreach Coordinator for the Bread of Life Food Rescue & Pantry, a nonprofit dedicated to matching excess food in grocery stores and restaurants with those in need. Additionally, he has also served on the marketing team for Giving Tree Global, an organization that works to both increase awareness of food-insecurity issues and to fund hunger relief efforts. Zach is passionate about sustainability and increasing collaboration between the nonprofit and business communities. He is looking forward to working with SIF to engage with the Boston community and become more involved with local issues.
