Building Executive Resilience in the Era of Covid-19

Via Zoom

We are living in an unprecedented time.  COVID-19 has created very stressful conditions including anxiety about health and safety, uncertainty about all aspects of work and home life, and isolation from physical distancing.  The economic uncertainty and social unrest emerging with the crisis creates additional difficulty in coping.

There are big questions that leaders are faced with in navigating this crisis, including the viability of their strategies and maybe even their businesses. That is why, now more than ever, building executive resilience, as a leader, manager, or human being, is so important.  You need to be able to rise to this challenge!

Resilience is more than coping; it’s about confronting crises and difficult situations without getting overwhelmed by them. Leaders can build high levels of resilience in themselves and their teams by taking charge of how they think about, and in turn, respond to challenges.

This 2-hour session is designed to provide the space and structure for you to reflect and think freshly about your leadership challenges at this moment.  You will be introduced to a resiliency regimen framework to help shift from a reflexive to a deliberative approach to crisis management.

Through a structured peer group activity, you will have an opportunity for collaborative brainstorming so that you can return to your organization and respond in productive and creative ways to the current challenges.

This workshop is designed for executive leaders at alumni Innovator organizations.  Please contact Jenna at jnackel@socialinnovationforum.org.
