This interactive workshop walks participants through a process for designing programs and evaluations that center the assets and aspirations of people and communities most affected. We introduce the Story+Data Mapping process, an equity-centered approach that helps users identify blind spots and opportunities to bring in additional voices while integrating core values. Workshop participants should come prepared to reflect on a specific program or initiative and will walk away with an understanding of how to use the Story+Data Map to articulate program theory and identify key measures of success.
