Social Innovation ForumEver wonder if your organization is “doing it right” when it comes to the legal aspects of running a nonprofit? Not really sure which types of records you should keep, or what types of activities have to be documented? SIF and Cooley LLP are proud to offer a Nonprofit Legal Assessment Clinic on Thursday, January 21st from 1:30 – 3:30 pm. The session will be held virtually, via Zoom.
Nonprofit organizations will meet with a team of two attorneys for two hours to walk through a list of questions to help ensure that your organization is meeting its obligations in certain key areas, including corporate governance, employment, and intellectual property. Organizations who wish to request further help beyond the assessment meeting will have an opportunity to submit requests for pro bono legal assistance through Lawyers Clearinghouse.
