Using Data to Understand Impact and Tell Your Story

-

via Zoom

Organizations define success differently yet most strive to use data to understand and communicate how they achieve their goals. Using established processes such as Theory of Change and tools such as logic models, organizations can determine what data is most valuable to understand their impact, make adjustments to achieve success, and craft a compelling story for funders and other stakeholders. This workshop will share the basics on how to use these tools and processes to support effective data gathering and communication efforts. The interactive format will include opportunities to share your own experiences and hear from others about the unique challenges and opportunities to use data to meaningfully impact fundraising, communications, and programming at small and mid-sized nonprofits.

Facilitator: Julia Gittleman

Note: This workshop is the same as the one we offered in-person in October 2023. We got positive feedback on the topic and wanted to offer it virtually to a broader audience.
