Tara Small

Tara Small (she/her/hers) joins Social Innovation Forum with more than 25 years of experience leading mission-driven work across philanthropy, government, and the nonprofit sector. Throughout her career, she has led organizations, teams, and initiatives focused on youth development, education, community well-being, and social impact, with a particular focus on turning ambitious ideas into effective strategies, programs, and partnerships.

 Tara most recently served as Executive Director of the One Love Foundation’s Boston office, where she led the organization’s significant growth across New England. Since 2023, Tara has worked as an independent consultant, advising corporate, philanthropic, and nonprofit organizations on areas including strategy, impact, and partnership building.

Tara holds master’s degrees in Social Work and Public Health. She brings to SIF a deep commitment to learning, impact, and collaboration, and to helping organizations and leaders translate vision into meaningful, measurable change.
