In-Kind Partnerships connect nonprofits with dedicated volunteers and professionals who want to give back to their community and share their expertise. Nonprofits in SIF’s Nonprofit Network have the opportunity to receive a wide range of pro-bono support.

Analysis Group - Data Collection/Analysis 

Analysis Group (AG) is one of the largest economics consulting firms in North America. Through its partnership with SIF, teams from Analysis Group provide support with data and analytics needs. Some of AG’s past projects with organizations include developing database management systems, designing surveys, and conducting a variety of statistical analyses to help evaluate program effectiveness and demonstrate impact.

Emerson College - Social Media Audit   

The Nonprofit Communication Management program at Emerson College provides students with a foundation in nonprofit communication and fundraising combined with service-learning partnerships that join students with local and global nonprofit organizations. Students in this program provide 6-10 organizations twice a year with comprehensive social media audits and communication improvement  recommendations.

The interest form to work with Emerson is shared in advance of the fall and spring semester in SIF’s Nonprofit Network Newsletter.

 

Goodwin - Legal Services  

Goodwin is a global law firm that has been partnering with the Social Innovation Forum since 2005 to provide pro-bono legal assistance to members of SIF's nonprofit network. The types of legal assistance that Goodwin has provided in the past include contracts, intellectual property (website terms of use and privacy policies, release forms), real estate (lease reviews), and nonprofit corporate governance (board presentations, nonprofit formations and filing for tax exempt status). For any pro-bono request, the more lead time we give Goodwin, the better.

William James College - Executive Coaching  

The Executive Coaching Graduate Certificate Program at William James College is a two-year, International Coach Federation-approved program that trains experienced professionals to become executive coaches. Students from the program serve as executive coaches to members of the nonprofit network during their capstone experience at William James. Each year they provide 10-20 individuals with four months of individualized coaching to help participants enhance their leadership capabilities and achieve their goals for growth.
