Don your cape and spandex for the #SummerSportsTeaDance super hero costume contest; find your “sidekick” in the bachelor auction; and dance the afternoon away at the 7th annual Summer Sports Tea Dance. The event will also kick off the fall LGBTQ sports season.

A picturesque rooftop view sounds like great motivation for a Tuesday evening workout! Work up a sweat with ICW from the rooftop garden of Kendall Square. The workout is sure to be fun and challenging for all ages and fitness levels. Moves on the Roof is a free summer workout series organized by InnerCity Weightlifting. The organization seeks to reduce youth violence by providing networks, opportunities, and space for economic mobility and social inclusion.
4. Become tech-savvy with Artisan’s Asylum, 2014 Impact Entrepreneur

If you are a tech person, this fun event is for you! Artisan’s Asylum is a nonprofit that promotes the teaching, learning, and practicing of fabrication. There is no need to be an experienced hacker to join this free class at Artisan’s Asylum’s open electronics and robotics lab. You will get to learn how to solder, work on your own project, ask questions, and spend time with other hackers and makers. All proceeds from selling electronics kits will help fund the improvements of the lab.
