1. Recognize the impact of the LGBTQ community this month with Theater Offensive, 2008 Innovator
Feeling Our Pulse: A Vigil of Love & Kindness
June 12, 7:00 pm | Boston Center for the Arts Plaza Theatre, 539 Tremont St, Boston, MA
The Theater Offensive, along with co-sponsor Boston Center for the Arts, has organized an emotional event in memorial of the attack at Pulse in Orlando one year ago. The event’s theme demonstrates the power of love and equality that could heal all pains and fight any fears.
Feeling Our Pulse: A Vigil of Love & Kindness will include the salsa music of DJ Mamba recreating Latin Night at Club Pulse, a staged reading of five (5) short plays from "After Orlando,” a salsa dance performance from Out Salsa Boston, drag queen performance by Neon Calypso, and other surprises!
This event is free and open to the public.
2. Celebrate a great year of local food with Mill City Grows, 2014 Innovator
Mill City Grows' Farm to Cocktail Party 2017
June 14, 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm | UTEC, Inc., 41 Warren Street, 01852 Lowell
Farm to Cocktail Party is an annual kick-off event at Mill City Grows serving fresh, tasty food from Lowell urban farms with a variety of custom-designed cocktails. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy a great night with live entertainment, raffles, silent auctions, and much more! Tickets are $75 and include a complimentary cocktail and fresh farm appetizers.
All proceeds will support Mill City Grows' Lowell-based food justice programs.

3. Become tech-savvy with Artisan’s Asylum, 2014 Impact Entrepreneur
Free Circuit Hacking

If you are a tech person, this fun event is for you! Artisan’s Asylum is a nonprofit that promotes the teaching, learning, and practicing of fabrication. There is no need to be an experienced hacker to join this free class at Artisan’s Asylum’s open electronics and robotics lab. You will get to learn how to solder, work on your own project, ask questions, and spend time with other hackers and makers. All proceeds from selling electronics kits will help fund the improvements of the lab.

4. Explore mindfulness with Life Alive, 2014 Impact Entrepreneur

5. Celebrate the 10th anniversary of AgeWell West Roxbury, 2013 Innovator
West Roxbury Rocks!

AgeWell West Roxbury is an Ethos-sponsored initiative that promotes the development of an age-friendly community and the creation of successful aging- in-place strategies. In the past three years, AgeWell has conducted more than 300 individual programs, events and health promotion classes with more than 8,300 participants. There will be plenty of fun activities throughout the night of celebration: an open bar, a buffet dinner, performances, music, auctions and raffles, and dancing!
