Join the Social Innovation Forum Team and our nonprofit and funder colleagues for our second annual coffee and donut celebration where we will gather for conversation and connection with no agenda on June 21 from 8:30 - 10:00 am.
In 2017, Vu Le, author of the blog Nonprofit AF, declared a holiday - "Get a Beer and Undo Nonprofit Power Dynamics (GBUNPD)" Day - "where foundations and nonprofits can just get a beer together, or coffee or ice cream, without an agenda, and just talk about whatever...to see each other as human beings, and help to decrease the power dynamics so present in our sector."
Last year, SIF celebrated this holiday with coffee, donuts, and over 160 local funders and nonprofit leaders who came together for conversation and connection at the Social Innovation Forum office. We are excited to share that on June 21, in conjunction with Vu Le and other conveners across the country, we will host our second Coffee & Donuts to Decrease Nonprofit/Funder Power Dynamics.
Please join the Social Innovation Forum team and our nonprofit and funder colleagues for a coffee and donut celebration of this holiday. As a core part of our work at SIF, we know that building connections between social good organizations and funders and supporters is key to sustainable social change. We hope you will drop in for breakfast and good conversation and will continue with us in this effort to build authentic relationships in our sector.
