Being a young (20s, 30s, 40s) person with wealth can feel incredibly isolating when you don’t have a community of values-aligned peers. Join the Social Innovation Forum (SIF) to meet other emerging philanthropists who are eager to contribute to community-led nonprofits and are looking to get involved in the Boston nonprofit sector.
Join members of The Philanthropy Connection, Resource Generation, and SIF to learn more about donor organizations. Grab a beverage and some snacks while you talk with other emerging philanthropists about what motivates their giving and how they’re hoping to positively impact their communities.
We’ll have a short speaking program where you can hear an emerging philanthropist and a nonprofit leader reflect on how they strive for equity in their collaboration. Then, we’ll transition into some open networking, where you can join spaces by different issue area. We’ll have a few nonprofit leaders representing arts, environment, immigration, and LGBTQIA+ advocacy that you can learn from while also meeting other donors looking to build in those spaces. Build your community of values-driven people working to create a more just society.
