Your inbox is more than full. Your meetings lack focus and run long. You are spinning in the day-to-day and wondering when you will have time to do the work that truly matters.
If this sounds familiar, you are not alone! And you don't have to stay stuck.
This two-hour workshop is for Executive Directors ready to reclaim agency over their calendars and capacity. We'll name the real obstacles to time management that nonprofit leaders face, and we'll map out concrete practices you can implement immediately. You will leave with clarity on what only you can do, a system for protecting your strategic work from the urgent creep, and a personal plan of action.
This isn't about working faster or squeezing more in. It's about focusing on what actually matters and taking back your time/capacity to accomplish your goals.
In this session, participants will:
- Name the challenges to time management that nonprofit leaders face.
- Identify what only they can do as Executive Director — and distinguish it from what they're doing out of habit, perfectionism, or unclear delegation — so they can stop carrying everything.
- Build a weekly practice that protects strategic work from urgent noise — creating a visible boundary between the work that moves the organization forward and the constant requests that fill the day.
- Create a personal plan of action - the 2-3 right moves that will allow them to regain control over their time and priorities.
Who should participate:
In order to create a space for Executive Directors to connect openly, we kindly ask that folks in other roles do not register for this session. If you have a question about whether you are the intended audience for the session, please contact Annette Valdouin at avaldouin@socialinnovationforum.org.
