What we do
Our mission is to create positive social change in Eastern Massachusetts by engaging leaders, strengthening organizations, and building networks. We connect funders and volunteers with on-the-ground leaders of nonprofit organizations to build productive relationships focused on growing social impact.
Since 2003, Social Innovation Forum has been providing indispensable services to philanthropic donors by identifying and getting to know the most innovative and impactful nonprofits that are working on solving some of our community's toughest social issues.
What is the Accelerator Program?
The Social Innovator Accelerator works to create a community inclusive of nonprofit and philanthropic leaders, and other change agents seeking to build a more equitable nonprofit sector in the region.
First, we conduct extensive market scan research and connect with organizations that might be a potential fit for the program. After we review applications both internally and with external issue experts, attend site visits, and do additional diligence, we select Accelerator Program Innovators.
These cutting-edge nonprofits, who are working towards solutions to our community’s toughest social issues, are provided with in-depth consulting, executive coaching, presentation advising, access to unrestricted grants, and more, to raise their organization’s visibility, expand their networks, and connect with philanthropic and in-kind resources in order to increase and deepen the impact of their work.
After the Accelerator Program, our Innovators join the Alumni & Nonprofit Network, where SIF continues to empower them through workshops and exclusive resources.
How you can make a difference
