On Thursday May 14, the Social Innovation Forum welcomed supporters, nonprofit leaders, and community partners to the Artists For Humanity EpiCenter for the 2026 Social Innovator Showcase. Centered around the theme “Speak Up and Speak Out for Nonprofits,” the evening celebrated the relationships, ideas, and leadership driving social change across our communities.
The program opened with remarks from Executive Director Wyona Lynch-McWhite, who reflected on the resilience, strength and opportunity for nonprofit leaders to show up in times of change. She emphasized the importance of joy, community, and abundance in advancing meaningful impact.
The Showcase highlighted the seven nonprofit organizations in this year’s Accelerator cohort. Leaders shared their missions and bold visions for the future, addressing issues ranging from climate justice and immigrant education to health-related social needs. As Director of Programs, Tanya Inwald, reminded guests, these leaders are problem solvers and change makers working on the front lines of social impact.
Throughout the evening, supporters, funders, and community members connected with the Innovators during a vibrant networking reception, sparking new ideas and opportunities for partnership.
We are deeply grateful to the Innovators, speakers, Track Partners, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who joined us in supporting the 2026 Social Innovators.
Leading or supporting nonprofit work in 2026 is work that is both full of joy and it is also heavy work. Resistance is fueled by individuals and our collective power. So, your charge is to remember that there is abundance even in times of resistance.
