Join the Social Innovation Forum (SIF), for a conversation with Karla Nicholson, Executive Director of the Haymarket People’s Fund, and Damian Wilmot a founding member of the New Commonwealth Fund to learn how their funding practices intentionally dismantle the persistent barriers grassroots organizations, and specifically leaders of color face, in securing philanthropic funding. Together we will examine approaches that move funding practices from transactional activities to transforming partnerships. 

On June 3rd, SIF welcomes the funder community to participate in a dialogue with our 2019 cohort. Hear how Social Innovators and funders innovated in the face of unanticipated challenges advancing the missions of these eight organizations over the last two years. Attendees will share best practices and reflect on their own learnings.

On May 19, come and hear six of Greater Boston's most dynamic nonprofit leaders present their solutions to our region's most challenging social issues. The Social Innovator Showcase brings together an audience of more than 350 foundation leaders, donors, next-gen donors, and community leaders interested in helping these organizations achieve their visions and expand their impact.

On May 5, 2021, join other Executive Directors from SIF’s nonprofit network for networking, connection, and conversation. 

Join us on Thursday, March 25 from 11:30-1:00 pm for the virtual workshop to get some clarity on how to maximize your advocacy, the types of advocacy activities 501(c)(3)s can engage in, and when communication is considered lobbying. 

Join us for OrigiNation Cultural Arts Center’s virtual Social Issue Talk “Empowering Youth Through Arts Engagement”, on Thursday, March 25th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm over Zoom. 

Join us on Tuesday, March 23rd from 10:00-11:30 am for a virtual workshop on hiring, supporting, and managing staff in a virtual environment. Participants will learn best practices and how they can be applied in a virtual setting. 

Over the next couple of months, SIF is convening a Fundraising Learning cohort online for nonprofit development staff to build community, surface challenges, and share best practices.
